What is The Elijah Project?

-We believe that God called us to have a place where people could come at any time, day or night, and spend time worshipping Him. Jesus said in Matthew 21:13 that his house would be a house of prayer.  We believe that the Church is not a building; it is rather the people of God because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  We are to be a house of prayer, a people of prayer!

-The Bible tells us that Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.  He prayed again and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit, James 5:17, 18.

-We believe that prayer avails much and that like Elijah; we have been called to birth the will of God into a fallen world through prayer. We also believe that our prayers of intercession are always and only an extension of Jesus’ work of intercession.  We aren’t producers but rather we are distributors!

-The Elijah Project is a place where people are free to come and go at any time, day or night, and worship God in a variety of ways!
